DIRECT SELLING AND MARKETING

Direct Selling and Marketing

The direct selling channel generated >$36 billion in retail sales last year and is expected to grow in ~1.5% a year. Wellness products remained the most popular product category in the U.S., accounting for 35.6 percent of sales, followed by Services (22.6 percent), Home & Family Care/Durables (15.8 percent), Beauty & Personal Care (15.6 percent), Clothing & Accessories (7.7 percent) and Leisure/Educational (2.7 percent).

Similar to other retail channels, the direct to consumer sales are undergoing massive disruption, requiring next level executive talent not readily available without our help. Changing consumer behavior, ecommerce, and retailers doubling down on private label requires different thinking and expert decision making on everything from merchandising and assortment to a new and different supply chain.

We can help identify and deliver the talent the retail drug channel needs to succeed.
