Managing Director/Partner - Consumer Goods

We have been engaged by a major Private Equity client to source and select a Consumer Goods & Services Managing Director/Partner to work within the PE firm to build and manage their respective fund(s).

We seek Managing Director/Partner with Consumer Goods & Services market expertise and 7+ years  experience working as a Partner or Principal with a major PE firm.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Manage the on-going evolution of the business and be responsible for translating the investment strategic vision into operating results.
• Lead organization activities within target markets, drive Investment research and valuations, lead negotiations and due diligence activities, structure financing and monitoring investment through to exit.
• Review, prioritize and manages the deliverables of the direct investments to meet financial and other performance targets.
• Ensure that resources and activities are aligned to business objectives and market needs.
• Provide leadership and sound business counsel to high quality team, driving decision making and delivering solutions within a successful commercial and creative environment.
• Define and develop strategies and business plans that enhance the investment offerings.
• Contribute to future strategy and seek new investment opportunities in line with strategic goals.
• Maintain relationships with senior executives, advisors and relevant industry partners, and overseas the plan and execution of comprehensive direct investment strategy.
• Responsible and accountable for the direction and performance of direct investments.
• Maintain the highest levels of ethics, integrity and confidentiality in business dealings.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Origination: Assessing a business opportunity’s desirability.
• Execution: Structuring and negotiating the detailed terms of a business opportunity.
• Manage the transaction process, assessing the target organization and the impact of the deal.
• Management of PE Fund(s).
• Liaison with the chief executive and chief finance officer of portfolio organizations.
• Performing financial analysis, strategic business analysis and detailed industry research for valuations.
• Close funding.
