Our client is a best in class professional service provider employing more than 1,000 employees that provided a range of services to industries like food service, hospitality and healthcare in which health, safety, cleanliness, consistency, compliance and operational excellence are powerful drivers of performance and results. This includes consulting, training, auditing, certification and commercial food safety and pest prevention services.

Title:               Vice President of Operations - Canada
Reports to:    President - Canada
Location:       Toronto, Ontario

Position
Will lead and develop a national team of service specialists who deliver best in class consulting, training, auditing, certification and commercial food safety and pest prevention solutions to food service, hospitality and healthcare businesses.

Major Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Supervise service specialists responsible for route management including customer retention, growing existing account add-on sales and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Effectively select, train, develop and coach service specialists
• Manage business processes to maximize route productivity, drive business results and achieve growth targets
• Maintain customer focus and take action to increase customer satisfaction and retention
• Fully understand company protocols and procedures to assure quality service and compliance with applicable regulations and laws
• Manage budget as well as profit and loss responsibilities, including controlling expenses

Education & Experience

• 3 years’ management experience in the tangential industry e.g. hospitality / hotel, food service / restaurant, or business service industry
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven record of meeting customer needs, quality service delivery, meeting business objectives, and ability to lead a service team
• Exceptional communication & organizational skills w/ aptitude to implement change initiatives
• Good decision-making and problem solving skills when handling challenging situations in a fast-paced environment
