Our client is a $2B global consumer packaged goods company. 

Title:                     VP Sales - Drug Chanel
Reports to:           SVP/GM US
Location:              New York
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leads cross functional team as single point-of-contact to internally and externally for the Drug channel toward achieving all financial and share objectives.
  • Leads personnel through a combination of both dedicated, direct line management as well as dotted line, matrix management.
  • Full P&L responsibility across brands sold within the drug channel.
  • Develops annual and strategic plans consistent with BU strategic direction.
  • Directly manages the brand equity for channel exclusive brands and works collaboratively to understand brand objectives.
  • Responsible for guiding innovation and directing customization into the channel consistent with channel strategy and financial payback hurdles.
 
Education & Experience
  • 10-15 years of CPG business leadership experience across multiple functions with emphasis on sales and marketing roles of increasing scope and responsibility.
  • Experience in channels or categories where nimble decision making and speed to market were vital to success.
  •  Demonstrated success in direct and indirectly driving business and brand and channel results including substantive examples of brand/channel development, creative development, Innovation, national and/or customer specific marketing tactics.
  • Development and delivery for total P&L.
  •  Development/deployment of business, segment, channel, and brand strategies.
  • High levels of learning agility. Evidence of stepping into new situations and quickly coming up to speed and making a positive difference.
  •  MBA preferred
