Our client is a $1B regional business of a global consumer packaged goods company. 

Title:                     President EMEA
Reports to:          CEO
Location:              London, UK
 
Position Overview
Responsible for general management and all sales, marketing and operational activities for the Consumer Products business across the EMEA region, with key market focus in UK, Germany, France, Italy and South Africa, but inclusive of other countries in the region.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
 
Develop and implement annual and strategic plan
  • Lead the development of the annual and five-year strategic marketing plans for each market in the region in line with global objectives and global brand strategies
  • Ensure successful implementation of the strategic plan through execution of annual country brand plans
  • Closely collaborate with global teams to capitalize on new brand opportunities for each market
  • Manage P&L activities and reporting for each market across the region
Manage the regional business
  • Execute initiatives and drive toward targets for each market on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Propose and develop additional resources as required to grow the business rapidly across the region
  • Develop competitive action and execution plans
Lead business development
  • Identify and prioritize market-expansion and new business development opportunities across the region
  • Identify strategic issues, gaps and potential acquisition opportunities
  • Collaborate with global Business Development to establish target acquisition plans
Provide strategic organizational leadership for each country management team across the region
  • Monitor and review individual and team performance, providing continuous feedback and coaching
  • Lead all performance management efforts for individual direct reports across the region
  • Address performance issues on a proactive basis
  • Recruit, develop and retain talent across the region
Education & Experience
 
  • 10+ years FMCG marketing, sales or business leadership experience at a senior level in the European region.
  • 5+ years P&L management experience
  • Regional / multi-market responsibilities
  • Results focused
  • Extensive travel (50% - 75%)
  • Bachelor's of Arts or Science; MBA preferred
  • Multilingual preferred
