Joe is a Managing Partner and Global Practice Head of Hunt Executive Search and Hunt International. Joe has had an extremely successful career in both management consulting and the executive search & recruiting business for over 20 years. As an actively engaged Partner is the business, Joe continues to personally conduct searches and has successfully completed more than 500 senior executive level assignments globally.

Prior to starting Hunt Executive Search, Inc. in 1988, Joe was “Rookie of the Year” and subsequently a Top 1% producer with one of the largest global search firms.
 
Joe's work has focused at the C-Suite, General Management, and EVP/SVP/VP level functional leadership is Sales, Marketing, Product Supply, Manufacturing, R&D, Finance and Human Resources.
 
Joe's clients include large multi-nationals, small and mid cap fast growth, and private equity companies. Representative clients include Novartis, Revlon, Mars, Jim Beam, Ciba-Vision, Sandoz, SC Johnson, Coty, Pfizer, Henkel, Sanofi, and many private equity portfolio companies including Blackstone and Carlyle Group.
 
As an industry expert in executive search, Joe is frequently a speaker at industry events. He has been quoted on multiple media’s including USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Fortune and many of the Consumer Goods, Retail, Diversified Industrial industry association publications.
On a personal note, Joe and his wife have six children and four grandchildren. Joe’s interests outside of business include international travel, wellness and is a private pilot. Joe is a continuous education advocate and continues research/study at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business where he completed his undergraduate, post graduate and executive development education in Finance, HR and General Management. Joe is a Certified Executive Coach from Columbia University Business School and has numerous other certifications including TriMetrixHD, Behavior (DISC) and Motivation (values), Myers-Briggs (MBTI), Development Dimensions International (DDI) and Lominger Leadership Architect.
Joe is an active board and committee member of several corporations, associations and non-profit civic organizations. He is a passionate community activist and past Board Chairman for the YMCA where he remains an active servant leader.
